94.3 WSC's Kelly Golden is an award winning news journalist many times over. She started her news career a decade ago here in Charleston at AM 1250. Kelly won her first Edward R. Murrow at just 23 then moved to Orlando, Fl, to work for heritage News Talker AM 580 WDBO.
In Florida, Kelly won another Edward R. Murrow and a morning show Marconi. After chasing Hurricane's Charlie, Ivan, Francis and Jeann, Kelly decided to come home (to Charleston) to marry the love of her life and work at 94.3 WSC as our News and Public Affairs Director. Kelly's flown many times onboard Charleston based C-17s, some on their way to war zones. She's even flown with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration through Hurricanes Rita and Katrina.
